"The artist is also a born adventurer. His explorations, unlike those of the tourist, are rewarded by the discovery of beauty spots unmentioned in the guide books, and with tireless curiosity and an exceptional proneness to wonderment, he will come upon objects of remarkable interest overlooked or even shunned by more disciplined observers."

Nearly Finished

Printed the penultimate colour on the print. Just one more slightly darker tone to go now to put some added depth into the shadow areas on the standing rock.

Continuing the new print

The next stages of the new print, starting now to work on the tones on the rocks and finishing off the foreground grasses. Colours 7, 8, 9 & 10.

Colour 7

Colour 8

Colour 9

Colour 10

The tonal shift between colours 9&10 is quite subtle, with hindsight it might be too subtle. But I've already cut the block so its too late now. Another 2 stages should see the print finished.
